A REALM OF WATER AND FEAR IS LIVE
When dragons invade your dreams asking for help what do you do?
Talking about dragons is forbidden. Dreaming of them can get you killed. Luanna’s taken it a step further and is speaking to them in her dreams. Will the royals end her life, or will she find a way to stop them?
Luanna has no idea her dreams can get her in so much trouble, but when half her town is burned to the ground, and her family is kidnapped, she vows to save her family and find out the truth.
The boundary around town keeps everyone in except the guards, but with them hunting her, she has to find the courage to leave and discover what awaits on the other side. She doesn’t expect to find a small dragon hiding from the guards too. Dragons are supposed to be extinct, though in her dreams, they’re alive and imprisoned. The young dragon needs her help to save his family.
Luanna needs to choose, should she go after her family or save the dragons?
Can Anilea hide her powers when the Commander of the Queen’s Elementalists is watching her every move?
Anilea doesn’t want to train as an elementalist. She doesn’t even want to be in the guard. All she wants is to stay at her parent’s farm and spend every last minute with them, especially now that her mom has lendago, the disease without a cure.
When she goes with her family to the castle to sell their wares, a strange growl echoes through the woods, and soon after, a tukben is killed, a vicious animal with hardly any predators. Her father tells the guards about it, bringing them to the attention of the Commander of the Queen’s Elementalists.
She does everything she can to conceal her powers, fearing the Commander will discover them. If he does, the law dictates that she must be trained at the castle, a fate that would separate her from her dying mother in her final months.
As they are leaving, one of the children falls from the castle wall, and none of the guards are close enough to save him. Anilea has to decide, save the child and reveal her magic to everyone, or let him fall and spend her mom’s last days by her side.
